Unique Practice: Ocean’s Breath

I’ve been struck for some time by a thought, the elements that surround one when living on a tiny island, are in touch constantly.

Why shouldn’t wind and wave play a part in making an artwork. An exciting, direct, controlling part in my practice?

Make it stand out

Once the winds and sea have completed their image a slow natural drying process completes the first stage.

Further development of the image may be by my hand.

Alternatively, the work might be finished, needing little physical intervention on my part.

There i smore work to be done here . . . . .
