On this December day, it is said ……

. . . . . Scotland may easily experience three or four seasons in a day. No truer than now. From a painting point of view, it couldn’t be better. There is little chance of being stuck for inspiration, especially as being by the shore and a painter of coastal inspired subjects.

Today we felt freezing temperatures, spring showers, autumn mists. That’s not to mention the drama of dusk cloud laden skies allowing peeks of intense sunlight to spotlight the Atlantic.

Three seasons in a day . . . . . . yes please.
